Remote control gives the opportunity to manage and monitor devices remotely, limiting the amount of direct interventions and therefore reducing costs and rationalizing human resources.
Remote control is particularly useful when a fast and continuous intervention is needed and when the devices are installed in areas difficult to reach (high-low temperature, high pressure, dangerous areas). Also, it gives important services, in terms of data centralization and monitoring in large size plants
IMAVIS developed a technology and a modular software that can meet different needs and can deal with a variety of devices. Along the years this technology has been applied to different remote control systems. It guarantees a continuous control of a high number of devices, possibly heterogeneous, with a drastic reduction of intervention cost and time in the case of failures. Also it addresses system security issues and guarantees data privacy.
The technology provides two different modalities: continuous monitoring and on-demand monitoring.
